2009 Annual Meeting Minutes

April 13, 2010

 

 

The 2009 Annual Meeting was held on April 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.  Chairman Fran Vorachek presided with the 1st and 2nd Supervisors, Treasurer, Constable, and Clerk present.  Approximately 5 residents were present.

 

The Clerk read the minutes from the 2008 Annual Meeting.  Fran Vorachek asked for a motion from the floor to approve the minutes from last year.  Alfred Krause made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Norb Morack, motion carried.

 

Fran Vorachek reviewed the 2009 Annual Report entries.  Fran asked if there were questions concerning the annual report.  There was an inquiry regarding the first dollar credit to the county.  It was explained that it is a credit program from the state of Wisconsin and the money is transferred directly to the county.   Fran Vorachek entertained a motion to approve the 2009 Annual Report.  Michael Ubl made a motion to accept the 2009 Annual Report, seconded by Ralph Thern, motion carried. 

 

Fran Vorachek entertained a motion to approve the Cemetery Commission Report.  Norb Morack made a motion to accept the Cemetery Commission Report, seconded by Michael Ubl, motion carried.

 

Issues from the floor:

There was a follow-up question from last year’s meeting regarding gypsy moth spraying.  Fran explained we are at the discretion of the state for spraying the gypsy moths.

 

There was a question regarding use of multiple garbage haulers for the Town of Liberty.  Fran stated that Graichen Sanitation is the only hauler that has applied for a license in our township.

 

The date for the 2010 Annual Meeting was discussed.  The 2010 Annual Meeting date is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.   

 

Michael Ubl made a motion to adjourn the 2009 Annual Meeting, seconded by Norb Morack, motion carried.
